What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive whatever you enter into it: your name, email address, phone number, the location and dates you are interested in, the size of your group, your message, and whether you are reaching out as a guest, a property owner, or for another reason. If you call or email us instead, we keep the details you share that way too.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser used, and the general area a visit comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this, and it may collect your IP address and other technical details. Our web host may also keep standard server logs, which record technical details such as IP addresses and the pages requested.

How we use your information

• To reply to your inquiry and answer your questions.
• To help plan a stay: checking availability, suggesting homes that fit your dates and group, and following up on your request.
• To talk with property owners about management, including preparing a property analysis and proposal.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website: the company that hosts the site, the email service that delivers contact form messages to us, and Google Analytics. These providers handle your information on our behalf and for the purposes described here. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us only as long as needed to respond to you and for our normal business records.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete. You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Evan@desertvalleypm.com or call 602-741-6663 and we will follow up.
• Google Analytics. To opt out, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• The contact form is optional. You can always reach us by phone instead.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, though, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our Area Guides and other pages link to outside websites, such as attractions, parks, and event venues. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
